What you buy
Online access to the full Prøvetolk question bank for kunnskapsprøven (alkoholloven): practice questions in Norwegian with English translations and explanations, exam simulation and test picker (shop / bar-restaurant). Access lasts 60 days from the time of purchase (or 14 days if you choose the 14-day pass). It is digital content only; nothing is shipped. The free test on the front page needs no purchase.
Price per test set (kunnskapsprøven or etablererprøven): 299 NOK for 60 days, or 149 NOK for 14 days. Restaurant bundle with both sets: 399 NOK for 60 days. Team pack for businesses (both sets, one key for up to 5 people in the same business, up to 10 devices): 990 NOK for 90 days. All prices include VAT (MVA). No subscription, no automatic renewal. If you want more time when your access ends, you can buy again.
Payment and delivery
Payment is handled by Gumroad, which processes the card payment, collects VAT and sends your receipt. We never see or store your card details. Your receipt contains a licence key; paste it on the front page to unlock the full bank immediately.
Cancellation and refunds (angrerett)
You can cancel within 14 days of purchase and get a full refund, no reason needed. Email us at the address above with the email you used to buy. A refunded licence key stops working. After 14 days, purchases are not refundable unless the service did not work as described, in which case contact us and we will fix it or refund you.
No guarantee of passing — not official
Prøvetolk is independent practice material. It is not affiliated with VINN, Helsedirektoratet or any kommune, and the questions are not the real exam questions. They are written from the public law texts (alkoholloven, alkoholforskriften) and official guidance, and checked against them, but rules change and kommuner have their own local rules. We cannot guarantee that you pass. Explanations are written with help from AI and reviewed against the sources.

Contact us first at the email above; we answer within a few working days. If we cannot agree, you can contact Forbrukerrådet for help.
Privacy
- What we collect: nothing when you use the free test. No account, no sign-up, no tracking or advertising cookies.
- Visitor statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not track you across sites; we only see totals (pages, countries, referrers, device types).
- Purchases: Gumroad processes your name, email and payment as part of the sale, under Gumroad's privacy policy. We receive the sale record (email, licence key, date) so we can give access, answer support and keep accounts as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires.
- Unlocking: when you paste a licence key, our server (hosted on Cloudflare) checks it with Gumroad and returns the questions. We do not store the key or your IP address. Cloudflare may keep short-lived technical logs for security.
- On your device: your browser remembers which test you picked, whether English help is on, which questions you got wrong (so you can practise them again) and your licence key (local storage), so you don't have to paste it again. Your list of wrong answers is never sent to us. Clear your browser data to remove them.
- Your rights: you can ask to see or delete data we hold about you by emailing us. You can also complain to Datatilsynet.
